IPRE presented the Alternative report on the implementation of the Association Agreement
September 10th, Chişinău – State Secretary, Daniela Morari, participated at the presentation of the Alternative Report on the implementation of the Republic of Moldova – EU Association Agreement for the first half of the year 2018, prepared by the Institute for European Policies and Reforms, in cooperation with the German foundation Konrad Adenauer and the National Platform of the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum.

Referring to the analysis realized by the authors of the Report, Daniela Morari mentioned that MFA EI welcomes this exercise of elaborating the alternative report, which brings an added value to the efforts of line institutions in implementing the provisions of the Association Agreement, the suggested recommendations will be examined and taken into consideration in the process of implementing the NAPAA. “In the process of drafting such reports, it is important to assess the general picture of the obtained progress, as well as to make a clear distinction between the actions that refer to the direct implementation of the Association Agreement, and those that refer to the EU macro-financial assistance, internal situation, which overall are influencing the process of reformation of our country to the European standards”, pointed out the State Secretary.

Daniela Morari also touched upon the priorities of the Republic of Moldova in the immediate future, including the diversification of exports to the EU market by obtaining the right to export animal origin products (poultry and B category eggs), as well as upon the efforts of institutions to ensure the full implementation of conditionalities for the EU’s macro-financial assistance.
