


On February 23, 2012, the Ambassador of the Republic of Moldova in London handled the credential letters to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. This took place just a few months away from the Diamond Jubilee to mark 60 years of the Queen’s reign, on which occasion the Ambassador congratulated the British sovereign on behalf of the Moldovan leadership.
The Moldovan Ambassador to the UK, Mr Iulian Fruntasu, visited The Kerfoot Group in Northern Yorkshire on Friday 17 February 2012. He began his visit at The Olive House, the Group’s head office, before going to the Kerfoot operational sites in the Port of Goole.
On June 22, 2011, Mrs. Mihaela Manoli, Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of the Embassy, participated at the event organised by the Royal Institute of International Affairs Chatham House in London with the special guest, Mr. János Martonyi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Hungary, who delievered a speech titled "Success lies in a stronger Europe".
PARALLAX AFis a „curated” international art fair. What makes the event unique is that it explores new theories in art history and the „art” of contemporary art. It takes place three times a year in London and will also be held in New York from summer 2012.
On June 13-19, 2011, in Cardiff, Wales, there takes place the BBC Cardiff Singer of the World 2011, where the Republic of Moldova is represented by the soprano Valentina Naforniţă.
On October, the 08-09th, 2010, in Ungheni city, will take place The Regional Investment Forum: „Investments for Development”, IIIrd edition.
