On June 22, 2011, Mrs. Mihaela Manoli, Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of the Embassy, participated at the event organised by the Royal Institute of International Affairs Chatham House in London with the special guest, Mr. János Martonyi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Hungary, who delievered a speech titled "Success lies in a stronger Europe".
To mark the end of Hungary’s EU Presidency, the speaker assessed the achievements and challenges of its six-month term. He discussed one of its core goals in developing a stronger Europe, which he argued, has been achieved by striving for a common economic governance, by strengthening common policies and by initiating new strategies for Europe.
